The teaser of O’Romeo has created a storm on social media and otherwise. Now Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj have unveiled a striking new poster of the Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri starrer. The first song from the movie, titled Hum To Tere Hi Liye The is all set to be revealed soon. The poster speaks volumes beyond its visuals and adds to the rising excitement. The makers are all set to release the film’s first song tomorrow, January 16, 2026.
The poster freezes a moment where love stands bloodied yet unbroken. Shahid Kapoor holds Triptii Dimri close, his eyes fixed on her. The imagery rightly evokes an intense mix of love and tenderness, amid chaos. The song features lyrics penned by the legendary Gulzar. It is sung by Arijit Singh. The music of the film is releasing with T-Series.
For those unaware, Vishal Bharadwaj directed O’Romeo is produced under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It is slated to release on the Valentine’s Week, i.e. on February 13, 2026.
In other news, the film is also being discussed recently for the cancellation of its trailer launch event. As per reports, the makers have cancelled the event due to security concerns. This is in regards to Sanober Shaikh, daughter of Hussain Ustara’s legal notice to the filmmakers, objecting to what she believes could be a negative portrayal of her father in the film. She has also demanded compensation of Rs 2 crores, asking for the amount to be paid within seven days.
Alongside Triptii and Shahid, the movie also stars Farida Jalal, Vikrant Massey, Disha Patani, Avinash Tiwari and Tamannaah Bhatia. Fans have been curious to know about the speculations of the movie’s release postponing but the makers haven’t responded yet.
