She developed a good bond with him and his son, Sanjay Dutt. Recently, the actress sat down for an interview with Pinkvilla and recalled one such anecdote from her friendship with Sanjay Dutt. She mentioned that when the Son of Sardaar actor had to go to jail, he requested her to look after his wife, Maanayata Dutt, who was pregnant with their twins. Recalling the time, she said:
“When he was going into prison, he called me and said, ‘Maanayata is alone, I want you to go and take care of her’.”
