While a section of social media users criticised her actions, another section defended her and shared that she might have been forced to get married to Ketan and thus took the drastic step. Recently, a user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote:
“If Siya and Chetan were in America or Europe, then they would have been living together. No, Ketan would get access to her, forget marriage. Forced marriage is wrong.”
