Currently, Shraddha Kapoor is riding high on the success of Stree 2. The film shattered all the major records in box office. After that, Shraddha Kapoor has not announced her next project. But recently , filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi shared an update about Nagin, his next project.
Nikhil Dwivedi recently shared a glimpse of the Nagin script, exciting fans about the upcoming film. He revealed that Shraddha Kapoor was his first and only choice for the role of a shape-shifting serpent. “She was excited. She was the first one to come on board. I approached her first with the idea, and she was sold. She can’t wait to start the shoot, now that the script is ready,” he said. The team plans to start filming next year.
Shraddha has always shown enthusiasm for this role. She once shared, “It’s an absolute delight for me to play a Nagin on screen. I have grown up watching, admiring, and idolising Sridevi ma’am’s Nagina and Nigahen and have always wanted to play a similar role rooted in Indian traditional folklore.”
Nikhil also praised her unique charm, saying she can effortlessly transition from the girl next door to a sensuous character. Though there were rumours of her appearing in Pushpa 2, fans are now eagerly waiting to see her transformation in Nagin.
