The singer was being treated at Holistic Hospital in Nizampet, Hyderabad. However, fans and the singer’s dear ones were worried for her as speculations went rife that Kalpana had attempted suicide.
Kalpana Raghavendar’s daughter, Daya Prasad, clarifies her mother didn’t attempt suicide
While Kalpana Raghavendar is not in the state to make comments, her daughter, Daya Prasad, has come forward with an explanation of what really happened that night. Daya spoke with the media at a press conference held at the Holistic Hospital. The singer’s daughter revealed that her parents are happy, and her mother is certainly doing well and pursuing various academic and work projects. She added that Kalpana was struggling with severe insomnia for which she was prescribed sleeping pills.
