Yuvvraaj, directed by Subhash Ghai, was a musical romantic drama starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan. The film focused on a fragmented family of three brothers vying to inherit their father’s wealth while exploring themes of arrogance and youthful overconfidence. Despite its star-studded cast and musical aspirations, Yuvvraaj failed to perform at the box office after its release on November 21, 2008.

Interestingly, Subhash Ghai had earlier revealed that AR Rahman’s Oscar-winning song Jai Ho was initially composed for Yuvvraaj. In an interview, Subhash Ghai revealed that initially “Jai Ho” was composed for Yuvvraaj but after recording, he (Subhash Ghai) felt that the song won’t work in that situation and later on, AR Rahman gave it to Slumdog Millionaire as it was his composition.
