
Famous South Korean actor Lee Yong-joo died at the age of 44. He is best known for his role in tvN’s The Blue Tower. His death has left everyone in shock and his fans, friends and colleagues are mourning his demise. The news of his death was shared by a close acqaintence who shared a picture of him with the details of the actor’s funeral.

Lee Yong-joo died at the age of 44 on August 29, 2026. As per Sports Chosun, Lee Yong-joo suffered a heart attack, and his close acquaintance shared a glimpse of his funeral altar. His funeral services will be held at the Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Funeral Hall in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The funeral procession is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. on August 31, 2026, following which he will be laid to rest. The person who announced Lee’s passing shared that he still cannot believe that the actor is no more. He wrote:
“Even as I write this, I still cannot believe it. Actor Lee Yong-joo, who brought laughter to many as the clumsy yet lovable ‘new recruit Lee Yong-joo’ in ‘Blue Tower’, passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest this morning.”
