Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s final trailer has been unveiled ahead of the film’s theatrical release, offering a deeper look at Peter Parker’s life after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where the world forgets his identity.
The trailer opens with emotional flashbacks of Peter’s life with MJ and Ned before Doctor Strange’s spell erased everyone’s memories of him. As Peter walks past MJ in the present day, his voiceover says, “We used to know each other. We were together. But something bad was going to happen. And the only way to stop it was to do the hard thing.”
The trailer seamlessly cuts between the past and the present, revisiting Peter’s heartbreaking promise that although his friends would forget him, he would find them again and explain everything.
In the present, Peter approaches MJ, who no longer remembers him, just like the rest of the world. Having accepted the consequences of his sacrifice, he chooses to carry the burden alone. After all, he isn’t just Peter Parker. He is Spider-Man.
The action-packed trailer also teases several high-stakes confrontations, including an intense face-off between Spider-Man and the Hulk. In another sequence, Peter rushes to MJ’s house to warn her of an imminent danger before swinging away with her through the city. The looming threat, however, appears to be something only Spider-Man can sense and stop, setting the stage for one of his biggest challenges yet.
