Initially, Siya tried to cover it up as an accident and told the families and police that Ketan had slipped while clicking a photograph. However, it was the police who found out the truth about Siya’s sinister plan.
Ketan Agarwal’s mother revealed details about Siya Goyal
In an interview with a news agency, ANI, Ketan Agarwal’s grieving mother talked about Siya Goyal and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary. She revealed that she treated Siya as her daughter-in-law, but she betrayed them and had lied a lot. She stated that when she visited their home, she acted nice, but they had no idea she had made a plan to kill their son. The mother revealed that she had told Siya that alcohol is not allowed in their home, yet she used to drink. She said:
“Aaj mera beta chala gaya hai. Uski zimmedar Siya hai aur uska boyfriend. Maine Siya ko bahu ke jaisa mana tha aur usne bahut bada dhokha diya hai aur bahut jhooth bola hai. Bahut jada jhooth bola hai. 2-3 baar ghar aayi, ek baar puja pe aayi thi, 2-3 baar dinner par bhi aayi. Mai ne frankly bol diya tha ki humare yaha alcohal nahi chlta hai toh bhi vo drink karti. Yeh baat humse chupayi gayi hai.”
