Coldplay is currently performing in Mumbai as a part of their Music of the Spheres world tour. During their January 19 concert, the group’s lead vocalist Chris Martin gave a shoutout to Shah Rukh Khan.

Chris’ heartfelt nod to the Bollywood actor caused fans to cheer in enthusiasm. He exclaimed “Shah Rukh Khan Forever”, making the concert-goers flash their lights and express happiness.
Many viral moments from the concerts are being discussed on social media, including one where Martin is also apologising to his desi fans for Great Britain’s history of colonialism. In another clip, he is seen inviting a fan on stage to sing his favourite Coldplay song with the band.
Martin also said, “This is our fourth visit to India, and the second time to play. First time we played a long show and we could not have asked for a better audience. Thank you for coming today everybody!”
After their show on January 19, the band is scheduled to perform on January 21 at D.Y. Patil Stadium. They are also gearing up for their performances in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26.
