She rose to fame after sharing her battle with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 49. Luna had spent the last year of her life using social media, where she shared the real side of the realities of living with dementia at a young age. In turn, she also raised awareness about end-of-life choices. Meanwhile, her family shared that she died in the presence of her loved ones.
