Urvashi Rautela Says It’s ‘Hard To Assess’ Why ‘Dabidi Dibidi’ Received Hate, ‘We Didn’t Realise…’

Urvashi Rautela is one of the most well-known actresses in terms of controversies. She began her career in pageantry and made her way to showbiz in 2013. But, despite her work, Urvashi’s real life has been a bigger subject of discussion. In the past few days, the actress’s interview comments and criticism of her song, Dabidi Dibidi’s choreography has dominated headlines. After being quiet for a while, Urvashi Rautela finally expressed her surprise at the song receiving hate in an interview and admitted that no one from their team anticipated that response.

Urvashi Rautela admits it’s ‘hard to access’ why Dabidi Dibidi got hate

Urvashi Rautela’s song, Dabidi Dibidi, was made for the film, Daaku Maharaaj. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, she revealed that they made the song for the film’s lead star, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fans. Consequently, every step, audio and more was designed to focus on their mindset. At the same time, when she rehearsed for the song, the practice went smoothly, like any other choreography. So, it’s difficult for her to understand why the song received hate. In her words:

“It wasn’t like I was shocked or doing something completely out of the ordinary. During rehearsals, everything was smooth and under control. But honestly, everything happened so suddenly that it’s been hard to assess why people are talking about the choreography in this way.”
