All eyes were on Tamil Nadu CM, C Joseph Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam’s divorce filing as the case was posted for a hearing on August 7, 2026. However, as destiny would have it, the case was adjourned today after Sangeetha changed her mind and withdrew her divorce plea, filed in Tamil Nadu’s Chengalpattu court.
Tamil Nadu CM, Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha withdrew her divorce case
Sangeetha appeared before the court through video-conferencing when her plea was taken up. She then told the court that she no longer wished to pursue the case as she didn’t want a separation from Vijay. Sangeetha then submitted the reasons for not pursuing her case. According to official court sources, following Sangeetha’s submission, the court disposed of the petition as withdrawn.
