Park Hae-Soo is back in the news and for all the right reasons. He and his wife welcomed their second son on August 23, 2026. Just over a month back, on July 31, 2026, Park Hae-Soo revealed to the world during the 5th Blue Dragon Series Award that he and his wife were pregnant. The occasion could have been no more perfect than this, considering that he had just received the Best Actor award for his performance in the thriller series, The Scarecrow. During his acceptance speech, he expressed his gratitude to his family proudly adding, “Daddy won an award!”
The Scarecrow actor, Park Hae-Soo and his wife welcomed their baby boy with the actor’s agency confirming that both the mother and the child were healthy. This news was officially confirmed by BH Entertainment via the Korean media on August 24. The couple married in January 2019. Park Hae-Soo and his wife welcomed their first son, five years back in 2021. Ironically, their son was birthed on the same day as the release date of the hit show he starred in as an antagonist, Squid Games, on September 17, 2021.
Squid Games had seen one of the most generational runs in this decade. The first season released back in September of 2021. The first month was a rather calm one for an unexpected and unprecedented phenomenon to occur. Squid Game skyrocketed his career right after. Even though he unfortunately during the climax of the first season, what followed were a set of concurrent hits, including Yaksha: Ruthless Operations, Karma, and the recent, The Scarecrow.
In June 2026, Park Hae-Soo was also confirmed to co-star alongside Jung-Suk in the new Netflix Drama, Paper Man.
