After more than a decade of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s conflict, their youngest daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, has taken a significant step to legally remove her father’s surname. She recently fulfilled a key request for California’s legal name-changing process. Now, it has brought her closer to becoming Vivienne Jolie. In fact, her decision is similar to that of many of her siblings.
Vivienne completes a key step in the name-change process
According to newly filed legal documents, Vivienne has met the requirement to issue a public notice of her name change in California. It was published every week for four consecutive weeks in the Los Angeles Daily Journal to inform the public of her request. California law gives anyone with objections time to respond before a final court hearing.
