The Revolutionaries is an eight-episode series that revisits India’s freedom struggle, especially the secret and underground activities of revolutionaries who fought against British rule. The story focuses on revolutionaries such as ‘Rash Behari Bose’ (played by Bhuvam Bam), ‘Sachindranath Sanyal’ (played by Rohit Saraf), ‘Bagha Jatin’ (played by Gurfateh Pirzada) and ‘Pratibha Lahiri’ (played by Pratibha Ranta).
The series explores the revolutionaries’ secret plans, conspiracies, friendships, relationships and sacrifices for India’s independence.
