NASCAR legend Gary Myers passed away at 76. He left his near and dear ones mourning. For the unversed, Gary was part of a four-generation racing family. He is survived by his wife, Pam and their two sons, Burt Myers and Jason Myers. According to reports, Gary died on September 10, 2026. Through separate posts on Facebook, Burt and Jason paid their heartfelt tribute to their dad.

Gary Myers was a veteran stock car racing driver. He was part of four generations in his family who participated in race car driving. He was preceded by his father, Billy Myers, and his uncle, Bobby Myers, and Burt and Jason, 47, then followed suit. Gary competed in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, NASCAR Grand National East Series and NASCAR Featherlite Modified Tour. He also won the SMART Modified Tour championship.
