Famous YouTuber and Haryanvi singer, Ankit Baliyan tragically passed away at the age of 35. He was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside a gym in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamali on August 26, 2026. This has triggered protests and tensions and while police is investigating the matter, it is said that there were four attackers involved in the accident.

As per reports, Ankit was shot dead at around 7 pm he was leaving the gym and heading towards his home. As per police, the attackers opened fire on him before he could flee from the scene. Some claim that there were 15-20 rounds fired on him and he sustained multiple bullet injuries and was declared dead after he was taken to the hospital.
The Shamli police received information about the shooting through Dial 112. Later, a team from Shamli Kotwali police station reached the spot and took custody of the body. They initiated the proceedings of the Panchaytnama and postmortem. They have formed multiple teams to idenity and arrest the accused person. Investigators are also examining the camera footage from the area to identify who was involved in the shoot out.
