On Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s 395th birth anniversary, the first look of Rishab Shetty’s upcoming historical epic, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is unveiled. Set to release on January 21, 2027, the film is a tribute to the legendary warrior king. Rishab expressed his honor in portraying Shivaji, sharing that he has always been fascinated by his legacy.
Directed by Sandeep Singh, the film features music by Pritam, lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, cinematography by Ravi Varman, and sound design by Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty. It aims to be one of India’s grandest productions.
Rishab is also set to play Hanuman in Jai Hanuman, the sequel to HanuMan, and is directing Kantara: Chapter 1, the prequel to his hit film Kantara.
