Akshay Kumar has once again bagged the highest-paid cast member title with his salary for Haiwaan. According to a News24 report, the actor charged Rs. 54 crore for the film, which is particularly interesting because Akshay revealed he shot his part in just 12 days. Yes! Not even a fortnight, which brings the Boss actor’s fee to roughly Rs. 4.5 crore per day. While the remuneration is not officially confirmed, the figures are enough to create a buzz among viewers.
For those who are not aware, this is not the first collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan. The two have worked together on several projects over the years, including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan and Khatta Meetha. Their reunion in Haiwaan comes after Bhooth Bangla, adding another film to their long-running professional partnership.
