The Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk’s convoy was reportedly under fire after he was returning from a concert in Abbotsford, British Columbia, late at night. As per the reports, the shots were fired at a car which was believed to be a part of his convoy.
However, these claims were quickly debunked by the Abbotsford police. As per them, a vehicle that was travelling in the 2500 block of McCallum Road had been targeted on September 5. The preliminary information also indicated that individuals in a dark-coloured SUV fired multiple shots at the victim vehicle.
They further added, “AbbyPD patrol officers responded and confirmed that a shooting had occurred. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. Shortly after the shooting, AbbyPD officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 2400 block of Sunnyside Place. Upon arrival, officers found an SUV fully engulfed in flames. The AbbyPD Major Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation and is working to determine the motive for the shooting and whether the vehicle fire is connected to the incident,”

Later, the singer himself took to Instagram to reveal to his fans that he was safe. His story was captioned, “Please don’t believe everything being reported or circulated. Waheguru di meher naal (By the grace of god), I’m completely fine, and I was not involved in any such reported or suggested incident.”
To add to everything, Virk’s father, Kuljit Singh, rejected all reports. He stated that the singer and his entire family were completely safe. He also clarified that no shots were fired at his son and that the shooting was targeted at the convoy of the show’s organisers.
