As per recent reports, the couple has opted to live in separate homes after 11 years of their marriage. Though there are no reports of separation and the duo share cordial terms with each other.

Amruta and Himanshu met each other for the first time when they participated in the reality show, Cinestars Ki Khoj, way back in 2004. Despite being from different cultural backgrounds (Amruta is a Marathi, while Himanshu is a Punjabi), they formed a bond quickly and became good friends. Soon their friendship turned into love and they began dating.
Amruta and Himanshu went through a lot of ups and downs in their relationship but they never left each other’s side. There came a point in their life when the duo broke up for a brief period and Amruta went on to date someone else. Yes, she was rumoured to be dating a music director but soon realised that it won’t work.
