Utah tattoo artist Gracie Songer always wished to have a wedding with the sentiments of her family. Her desire became a reality when she hopped from store to store to find the perfect bridal gown for her. She wanted something unique to wear on the most special day of her life, and the stores had all the usual patterns.

Gracie wanted to wear a fabric that was light and airy. All the gowns she tried at high-end showrooms were gorgeous, but they lacked the emotional touch. Since Gracie wanted to wear something comfortable, her mom, Rebekah, stepped in. After trying multiple gowns, Gracie was frustrated and asked her mom to get a plain bedsheet to see how it looked on her.
Soon, her mom, Rebekah, went to the storage and brought an old white Battenberg lace bedding that she purchased in 1992. Rebekah had bought the bedsheet from a department store when she was just 16. She had bought the duvet and matching shams to keep for herself in the hope of her future marriage.
