Brittney Griner was first married to Glory Johnson. The two married in 2015 but their marriage ended after she found out about her pregnancy. Brittney claimed that Glory cheated on her before their marriage, in the court papers. She ended the first marriage within 28 days and stated that Johnson had a sexual relationship with a man, leading up to the WNBA star’s engagement.
Brittney further revealed that Johnson kept texting her ex-boyfriend after their engagement. However, she didn’t talk about these facts in her initial filings to protect the couple’s relationship. She filed for an annulment of the marriage. She filed the documents after she found out about her pregnancy through IVF. Brittney earlier claimed that she was pressured to marry Johnson.
