The wait is finally over. Prime Video just confirmed it. Maxton Hall: The World Between Us returns for its final season on December 9, 2026. And this time, there’s no turning back.
Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung) are walking into their toughest chapter yet. Ruby has been suspended from Maxton Hall College. Her Oxford dream, the one she’s fought so hard for, is slipping right out of her hands. But she isn’t the type to go down quietly. With James by her side, she sets out to clear her name and prove her innocence.
Here’s the catch. The deeper they dig, the messier things get. Truth has a way of dragging old secrets into the light, and not everyone is ready for what comes next. Friendships crack. Loyalties get tested. And somewhere in the middle of all this chaos, Ruby and James are forced to face the one question the whole show has been building towards. Is love actually enough?
Along with the season 3 date, fans also got their first teaser today, with a proper first look promised for September 3. Millions of viewers across the world have been waiting for this moment, and it’s finally close.
The film brings back its full ensemble, including Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Eidin Jalali as Graham, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huet as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Govinda Gabriel as Kesh, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, Eli Riccardi as Elaine and Dagny Dewath as Ophelia.
Martin Schreier returns to direct the final season, with Ceylan Yildirim, Markus Brunnemann and Eike Adler on board as Executive Producers. Sandra Stöckmann and Ceylan Yildirim lead the writers’ room, joined by Catharina Junk, Marlene Melchior and Aylin Kockler. Valentin Debler produces.
