The wait is finally over as the trailer for Daayra has finally been released by Junglee Pictures. Within a short span of time, it has already managed to garner a lot of attention with both fans of the genre as well as the cast. The movie is inspired by true events with the star-packed cast taking on a more serious role in this new thriller-action.
Netizens quickly tuned up to the trailer of Daayra to pen down their thoughts on ‘X’.
One fan quickly pointed out the credits rolled out in the trailer, specifically highlighting some other thrilling tales under the filmography of Meghna Gulzar, including Talvar, Raazi and Sam Bahadur. The trailer follows DCP Ajooni Kohli (Kareena Kapoor) and DCP Raman Kumar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) as they both take on the same case with different ideas of justice. The seriousness of the case helps form the SIT (Special Investigation Team). They join forces to find out about the abduction of a girl on a wild goose chase.
The trailer shows hints of Kareena Kapoor seemingly having an Eidetic memory with the ability to reconstruct a crime scene. Prithiviraj’s character on the other hand has an empathetic side to him, bringing the seriousness of the transpired event to the table, allowing him to connect with the affected and the victim. While Ajooni takes the boundaries of the law more seriously, it is to be seen how the emotions could possibly get the better of Raman.
