Oscars 2026: One Battle After Another Dominates As Michael B Jordan Jessie Buckley Win Top Honours

The 98th Academy Awards, or Oscars 2026, brought a night of powerful wins and cinematic milestones, with One Battle After Another emerging as the biggest victor. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the film clinched the coveted Best Picture trophy along with Best Director, Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing and Best Casting. Meanwhile, Michael B Jordan won Best Actor for Sinners and Jessie Buckley took home Best Actress for Hamnet. Other notable winners included Frankenstein for its craft categories, KPop Demon Hunters for Best Animated Feature and Sentimental Value for Best International Feature, making the ceremony a diverse celebration of storytelling from across the globe.
