Actor Prabhas’s historical action drama Fauzi will begin rolling out its promotional campaign later this month. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the multilingual release aims to deliver high-impact content to excite fans. The makers have confirmed that an exciting publicity campaign will begin in September. A major glimpse video can probably be expected in the second half of this month.
Designing impactful publicity materials
Recently, in another crucial update, producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers reiterated that the film will release as scheduled on December 3, 2026. He added that they are currently designing impactful publicity materials for greater penetration and visibility. “I am sure fans will find it exciting watching Prabhas garu, and that he will shock and stun audiences with his performance and commanding screen presence.”
Set during the British era, around the 1930s and 1940s, the film explores the Indian freedom struggle while incorporating Sanskrit shlokas and mythological allegories. Prabhas’s character is likened to a battle-tested warrior who combines traits of Partha (Arjuna), Karna and Ekalavya. Prabhas portrays a thinking soldier and revolutionary, exploring contrasting approaches to liberation alongside historical figures such as Mahatma Gandhi.
A superhero fighter
Honestly, not much has been revealed about the film in the last one year. The first look was released in October last year. It featured a close-up of Prabhas’s determined eyes juxtaposed with a burning British Union Jack flag. That alone established the film’s anti-colonial and patriotic themes. The tagline, “A Battalion Who Fights Alone”, made it sound like Fauzi is going to be about a superhero-like freedom fighter. So, when the next set of promotional assets comes out, the audience is going to measure them against the high standard set by the poster.
Co-starring debutante Imanvi alongside Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher, Fauzi features music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and is scheduled for a grand pan-India theatrical release on December 3, 2026. Grand premiere shows will be held on the night of December 2 in the domestic market, particularly in the Telugu States.
