Dubai is set to host an international music and dance reality show titled ‘The UAE Rockstar’, to be directed by renowned Bollywood filmmaker Dushyant Pratap Singh. The show will be organised in Dubai and aims to provide a global platform for emerging talent.
The show is being backed by Pritesh Patel and Alpesh Patel, partners at Akshar Real Estate LLC, who are also working towards establishing a major production house, AP Production, in Dubai. The producers said it is a proud moment for them to collaborate with an experienced and acclaimed director like Dushyant Pratap Singh.
‘The UAE Rockstar’ will be held in two categories — Junior and Senior groups and will focus on both singing and dancing. A key highlight of the show is that all selected contestants will perform their own original songs, specially composed by a noted Bollywood music composer.
The official announcement of the show will be made in the second week of January, while the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Grand Finale are scheduled between the first week of March and the second week of April.
AP Production aims to position Dubai as a major hub for film and television production, highlighting the city’s world-class facilities and unexplored shooting locations.
