Priyanka Chopra Jonas will star alongside Orlando Bloom in upcoming Hollywood movie, Reset. The survival thriller is directed by Matt Smukler, who has also directed the 2022 movie Wildflower. As per a report from Deadline, the production for the movie is slated to begin in August. It is written by Jordan Rawlins.
Opening up on the pairing of Bloom and Chopra Jonas, the director noted, “I was looking for a pairing where attraction and mistrust could effortlessly coexist. Priyanka and Orlando have this uncanny ability to make you believe both at once.”
Reset will be produced by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber under Fratricidal Films, Michael Lazarovitch under Chemically Altered, Matthew Rhodes under Rhodes Entertainment, Priyanka Chopra Jonas under Purple Pebble Pictures and Orlando Bloom under Amazing Owl.
Producers Jon and Erich Hoeber noted, “Jordan Rawlins and Matt Smukler have created a gripping story of survival, romance, suspense and deceit, replete with shocking twists, and we’re thrilled to have partnered with Priyanka and Orlando to bring it to the screen.”
About PeeCee’s new film Reset
The story centres on a woman played by Priyanka Chopra who finds herself lost in the wilderness with no recollection of her past, forcing her to rely on a mysterious man portrayed by Orlando Bloom. The film is backed by Purple Pebble Pictures and Amazing Owl.
Priyanka shared the update on social media, with fans and her industry well-wishers congratulating her on her next project. One fan wrote, “Congratulations, PeeCee! This is huge.” Another fan commented, “I watch every movie she stars in. Love her as an actress.” Her industry peers, including Dia Mirza and Alia Bhatt hyped up the actress. While Dia commented, “Wooohoooo,” Alia showed her support by heart-reacting to the post.
Priyanka was last seen in the 2026 film The Bluff with Karl Urban.
