Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence, Mannat, is more than just a home. For his fans, it is a landmark and a place of pilgrimage, with people gathering outside its gates every day in the hope of catching a glimpse of the superstar.
The Khan family, however, has been away from their iconic Bandra home since 2025 as extensive renovation and expansion work got underway. Shah Rukh, Gauri Khan and their children, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, temporarily moved to duplex apartments at Puja Casa in Pali Hill.

Now, it appears the family could soon be heading back home. According to a recent Hindustan Times Real Estate report, the renovation work is expected to be completed within the next two to three months, with the Khans likely to return to Mannat by December this year.
The renovation has involved a major expansion of the Mannat annex. Two additional floors, with a combined area of around 7,000 sq ft, have been added to the existing six-storey structure, taking the total size of the annex to more than 30,000 sq ft. The existing floors have also reportedly undergone repair and renovation.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film stars an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma, among others. The film will also mark SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan’s theatrical debut after her OTT stint with The Archies. It is set to hit the theatres on December 24, 2026.
If the reported timeline holds, 2026 could end with Shah Rukh Khan returning to Mannat just as King arrives in cinemas.
