Amazon Prime Video keeps chasing the Young Adult audience that once lived on The CW. Sterling Point, which was recently released on August 5, 2026, is the closest it’s come to recapturing that spark. Created by Megan Park, with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage as showrunners, the series trades big IP for sharp writing, messy emotions, and star-making performances.
Sterling Point is sun-soaked and talky, funny and occasionally heartbreaking, with early-twenties actors who actually look like teens. With eight episodes, it feels both nostalgic and new, proving that the teen drama is not dead, just relocated.
