Singer Sunidhi Chauhan broke down during her recent concert in Lucknow. She apologised to the crowd as she was struggling with a severe throat problem. The video of the incident which occurred a couple of days ago has now gone viral on the internet.
The incident occurred at coolbreeze resorts in Lucknow. she was performing as part of her I Am Home India Tour.
In the video, she is seen addressing the crowd about her throat condition and explaining to them that her voice is not at best. She paused in the middle of her performance to say this.
The singer said with tears in her eyes, “I have a terrible throat. Aaj mere aawaz bohot zyada kharab hai. (Today my voice is very bad.) But I know you are with me, and I want to still do this. Oh my god, this has never happened with me ever, and it’s embarrassing. I am so sorry. It’s just that, mujhe thoda… I always want to give 100%. But unfortunately, I am trying, and maybe it won’t be that, so please forgive me already. I am just going to move on. Thank you so much for your love.”
However, she kept up with her performance. Fans later took to social media to support Chauhan and rally behind her.
One of them wrote, “A Queen with integrity, singing LIVE even on a day like this and no doubt mulling it as usual! Lovely crowd too. I’m sure it was beautiful in the end.”
