Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria has praised her Toxic co-star Yash, the Kannada superstar, while speaking about working with him. Her words about him come in the context of Toxic getting panned for allegedly glorifying hyper-masculinity and treating its female characters without sensitivity.
Speaking on a podcast named The Male Feminist, Tara highlighted Yash’s empathetic personality and thoughtful nature. She said, “He is one of the most sensitive people, and genuinely, he thinks about the other person more than himself. It is rare to see such a person in our industry. He is unlike anyone I have met, and he is very considerate.”
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features Tara in a prominent role alongside Yash. She plays his girlfriend in the period action drama.
Tara reveals match learning disability
On the podcast, Tara revealed she has dyscalculia, a learning disability affecting math comprehension and number processing. Because she frequently makes calculation mistakes, she relies on her father and accounting team to manage her finances and navigate paperwork.
Break-up with Veer Pahariya
Earlier this year, Tara ended her relationship with actor Veer Pahariya after a few months of dating. The pair made their relationship public during Ganesh Chaturthi in 2025. They reportedly split following a viral moment at an AP Dhillon concert in Mumbai. Neither Tara nor Veer has issued an official statement regarding the breakup. Meanwhile, the actress is embracing new beginnings in her personal space. In February, she shared photos of her new Mumbai home on Instagram, expressing hope, love, and laughter for 2026.
Tara made her Hindi film debut with Student of the Year 2 in 2019. She later starred in projects like Marjaavaan, Tadap, Ek Villain Returns, and Apurva. Through these varied roles, she continues to expand her footprint in mainstream Indian cinema.
