He is a Los Angeles native, who is the founder, chairman and CEO of a Beverly Hills-based private equity firm, Regent. Reinstein began his career as a junior staffer under former President Reagan. The company has acquired many iconic brands such as Playtex, Escada, La Senza, Club Monaco, Sunset magazine, Ralph Lauren and many others.
