It was on August 13, 2026 (ET) when a jury was successfully selected for the trial of the 1996 murder case. However, even with the hearing right around the corner, a report by TMZ has revealed that Davis is not even the slightest bit nervous about going to state prison for life if he’s convicted.
Sources with direct knowledge regarding Tupac Shakur’s murder case spoke with the news outlet and revealed that Keefe D’s trial began with the jury trial on Monday, August 10, 2026 (ET), after he pleaded not guilty to the 1996 murder. Prosecutors have alleged that Duane “Keefe D” Davis plotted the murder in Vegas and produced the gun used to assassinate the rapper. However, someone else fired the kill shot.
