Deepika Padukone is one of the top actresses in Bollywood today. Recently, she appeared in the eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, during which she had candid conversations with students and discussed the importance of rest and mental health. The actress cited some of her own experiences and stressed how important it is to make time for rest while preparing for exams.
Deepika Padukone reveals she was weak at math in school
Deepika Padukone has been extremely vocal about her struggle with depression. So when she was asked about what one can do to keep their mental health in check. The actress responded with an anecdote from her life. Deepika shared a clip from the event on her Instagram handle, where a student could be seen asking the actress, “What can we do to have good mental health?” To which she responded by stating:
“I was a very naughty child. I would always climb table, chair, sofa and jump off it. I used to get extremely stressed (during exams) as I was very weak in Maths. I am still weak at it. But like Narendra Modi has suggested in his book Exam Warriors, ‘Express Never Suppress.’ So, always express yourself with your friends, family, friends, and teachers. Journaling is a great way of expressing.”
