Bollywood actress, Hansika Motwani has moved a Sessions Court in Mumbai, seeking Rs. 2 crore in damages. The actress has filed a defamation suit against her former sister-in-law, TV actress, Muskan Nancy James. Muskan accused Hansika and her brother, Prashant Motwani, of domestic violence. The suit has a court order restraining, Hansika’s estranged, sister-in-law, TV actress, Muskan Nancy James from making any more statements against the actress.

A report by India Today revealed that Hansika Motwani wants a public apology from Muskan Nancy James. The filing for the actress was prepared by her advocate, Adnan Shaikh, and it alleges that false and damaging claims about Motwani were made on social media. This was done to avoid repaying an alleged loan of Rs. 27 lakh. Well, the petition revealed that Nancy James had borrowed the amount when she was married to Hansika’s brother, Prashant Motwani, but she failed to repay it despite repeated requests. Hansika on the other hand revealed that she had very less involvement in the marriage of her brother, Prashant and was not even staying with the pair.
