Jayakrishna Ghattamaneni, grandson of legendary actor Krishna and nephew of superstar Mahesh Babu, has revealed that Ram Charan is the actor he admires the most outside his own family. The young actor, who is all set to make his silver screen debut with Srinivasa Mangapuram, said he has always been inspired by the Mega Power Star’s dedication to his craft.
Speaking about his admiration, Jayakrishna said Ram Charan completely immerses himself in every role he takes up. “Outside the Ghattamaneni family, I love Ram Charan garu,” he said, adding that sustaining a long and successful career in cinema is the biggest challenge for any actor.
Ram Charan continues to earn industry admiration
Over the years, Ram Charan has been praised by several colleagues for both his performances and professionalism. Recently, Allu Arjun described Charan’s performance in Peddi as “raw and gritty.” Kiara Advani has spoken about his humility on film sets, while Tamannaah Bhatia has often highlighted his grounded nature despite belonging to one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated families.
Alia Bhatt, who shared screen space with him in RRR also praised his professionalism and supportive nature during filming. Many of his peers have consistently appreciated his commitment, discipline and respectful work ethic.
Excited for his acting debut
Jayakrishna will make his acting debut with Srinivasa Mangapuram, directed by RX 100 and Mangalavaaram filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi. The romantic action drama stars Rasha Thadani as the female lead and follows the story of two young lovers, Vasu Babu and Manga, whose lives are turned upside down when a powerful gang threatens to separate them. The debutant expressed gratitude to Ajay Bhupathi for giving him an opportunity to launch his career with an emotionally intense story.
“Srinivasa Mangapuram is a passionate and gripping love story that brings a fresh, raw emotional depth to the screen. As a third-generation actor from the Ghattamaneni family, I am aware of the responsibility of carrying forward the legendary legacy,” Jayakrishna said. The film is slated to release in theatres later this month.
