Brittney Griner’s wife, Cherelle Griner, is a lawyer. She began attending law school at North Carolina Central University School of Law in August 2019. Having graduated in May 2022, she celebrated the occasion by sharing a series of posts on Instagram. She revealed that she not only graduated from one of the six remaining HBCU law schools, but also successfully finished with cum laude honors.
Alongside photos of her wearing her cap and gown, Cherelle wrote, “This was not an easy feat, and truthfully I didn’t even know if I could do it! Best believe, I’ll never doubt me again.” At the time, Cherelle also shared a video of her wife, Brittney, wearing her university clothes. In the caption, she wrote, “This is clearly BG’s sweatshirt!
