Punjabi singer Baljit Singh was found dead at his home in Ludhiana. Besides being a singer, Baljit was a songwriter. According to reports, the decomposed body of the singer was recovered after neighbours reportedly noticed a foul smell and alerted the police. Baljit’s body was reportedly found lying on a bed inside the house. While the initial police investigation pointed towards murder, the postmortem report stated otherwise. He was reportedly missing for the past four to five days.
What caused Baljit Singh’s death?
According to a report by TOI, Baljit Singh died of a heart attack. Sudhar police station SHO Kulwinder Singh, who reached Baljit’s home in Sudhar Patti Dhaliwal village in Ludhiana, ruled out any foul play after the postmortem examination. After the examination, the body was handed over to his family. According to reports, the singer’s body was recovered on the morning of September 3, 2026. Reportedly, blood stains were found at several places inside Baljit’s house.
