Woman Was Declared Clinically Dead During Childbirth, Revived After Performing Postmortem C-Section

TLC’s new series ER: Caught on Camera features first-person accounts of medical emergencies. The series compiles raw footage of people who survived a fatal experience and also documents their real-life experience. One such horrific experience was shared by a pregnant woman named Nicole, whose world turned upside down before she could deliver her baby.

Pregnant Nicole was clinically dead for 45 minutes

For Nicole, giving birth to her third baby was the most cherished dream, but it soon turned into a medical nightmare when she suddenly stopped breathing. As Nicole and her husband, Anthony, were thrilled to welcome their third baby, she started documenting the birthing process. While recording the video, she said, “Hey baby number three. We’re in the hospital. Can’t wait to see you.”

While documenting the childbirth, Nicole started feeling nauseous. A sense of fear and doom just crept over her body, and all she remembers was not being able to breathe. Speaking about the same to the TLC reality medical series ER: Caught On Camera, Nicole said:
