Raj and DK shut down rumours surrounding Gulkanda Tales and Rakt Brahmand

Filmmaker duo Raj and DK took to their joint X (formerly Twitter) account to share a cryptic yet powerful message, seemingly addressing recent speculation about their projects. This comes just a day after reports surfaced claiming Amazon Prime Video was shelving their upcoming show, Gulkanda Tales. While they did not directly mention the controversy, their post hinted at challenges they’ve faced, including being “thrown under the bus.” Along with their note, they shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from various sets, reflecting on their journey.

In their statement, they spoke about their approach to adversity, choosing to focus on work rather than react to negativity. They wrote, “Every now and then something happens to shake things up. And you have a choice on how to react. For us that choice of reaction has always been clear—to just put our heads down and continue doing what we have been doing. Work harder. Do better. It is also a reminder to take stock of where we are at. While we are in the midst of production on our most ambitious show yet… and fresh from completing season 3 of The Family Man… and a few more films and shows in development… we took a quick moment to contemplate.”

Seemingly shutting down rumours about Gulkanda Tales being shelved, they ended on a confident note, reaffirming their upcoming projects. They wrote, “We just thought we needed to take a moment to reiterate this! Next up: Rakt Brahmand on Netflix and Gulkanda Tales and The Family Man 3 on Prime.” This statement makes it clear that the much-anticipated shows are still on track, despite speculation.
