Recently, Riyan Parag sat for an interview with City1016 Radio, wherein he was asked about the controversy around him for the first time. The cricketer shared that during that time, he finished the IPL and got on a Discord call with his streaming team. He shared that one of the Discord team members tried to set him up before IPL. Riyan added that when after the IPL, he opened his stream, nothing was there, and everything was deleted, including Spotify or Apple Music. Riyan can be quoted as saying:
“I finished the IPL, we were in Chennai, finished the match, got on a Discord call with my streaming team, and it got publicised now, but it happened before the IPL. One of the people in my Discord team tried to set me up before the IPL, but that got taken down very quickly. But then after the IPL, the hype was there, and I had a good season. I came and opened my stream, I didn’t have Spotify or Apple Music. Everything was deleted.”
