The actress explained that in a couple of the characters she played, her fashion and good looks were loved a lot and made people overlook her talent. Although she simultaneously worked in less glamorous and complex roles, gaining critical acclaim, it was often overlooked. “My body of work includes some of the finest films, but I was still slotted as an item girl or a sex siren. The sexy image you see in Rangeela is a character’s fantasy, not who I am.”
