Who Was Former PM Deve Gowda’s Wife Chennamma? Passes Away At 89, Survived An Acid Attack

In a piece of heartbreaking news, Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda’s wife, Chennamma Deve Gowda, passed away at the age of 89. The cause of her death was a massive cardiac arrest. Chennamma was 89 and passed away at Manipal Hospital located at Old Airport Road in Karnataka. Chennamma was 89 at the time of her demise.

Hospital authorities had mentioned that she was undergoing treatment for a respiratory ailment and, in a statement, mentioned that  Mrs Chennamma suffered a massive cardiac arrest despite being on the road to recovery today at 4 pm. Her son and Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy, along with other family members, were present at the hospital.
