Anna Lezhneva, wife of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, recently undertook the pilgrimage to the Tirumala temple by climbing its sacred steps. The visit came days after Pawan Kalyan was discharged from a private hospital in Mumbai following surgery. Sharing her experience on social media, Anna described the climb as physically demanding, admitting that she had to stop several times along the way to rest and catch her breath before continuing the journey with fellow pilgrims.
Reflecting on the experience, she said she felt completely exhausted by the time she reached the temple. However, she added that the physical fatigue was outweighed by the emotional and spiritual fulfilment the pilgrimage brought. Anna also observed that every pilgrim undertakes the climb with a deeply personal purpose, whether it is a prayer, an expression of gratitude or a hope for better days. According to her, it is this shared sense of faith that makes the Tirumala journey so meaningful.
Summing up her experience, she wrote, “Maybe that’s why this journey stays with so many people. You arrive tired, but your heart feels lighter than when you started.”
