Taking to her X (Previously Twitter), Congress spokesperson, Dr Shama Mohamed called Rohit Sharma fat, which brought her a whole lot of backlash. She instantly deleted the post, but later, in a follow-up post, she kept defending her comment on Rohit Sharma. In the now-deleted tweet, Dr Shama Mohamed said that Rohit is a ‘fat for sportsman’ and that he ‘needs to lose weight’. She continued by saying that Rohit is the ‘most unimpressive Captain India has ever had’. Such a comment got tagged as ‘derogatory’ by the netizens, and she got slammed, after which she instantly removed the post.
